I was born in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, in the U.S.A.
My father was in the military so I got to travel a lot. I really did
enjoy seeing the world and the myriad points of view of humanity. I
remember being six years old when my family moved to Germany and my
father explained that Germans didn't use the same language as I did.
Instead of "one, two, three..." they say "ein, zwei, threi...". I
carried this into my views of the African Diaspora. I would love to
show my compatriots that they are Black Americans, which is one part of a
much larger whole. This is also one of my goals for my writing. Ultimately, I do want people to be entertained. The learning is secondary.
When I'm not writing, I play video games and watch anime. You'll see this in my style as I'm not too big on long, obvious expositions. I want my readers to figure out what's going on. I also like to have some violence in my work to keep the story interesting.
I'm beginning to jot down ideas for my next book: "Ruins of the Fall: Future Black History". Of course, that's still the working title. This book will be entirely based in the world described in the Black Section of my most recent book "Squirrels & Puppies: Dark Morality Tales". In this world, Black people have taken over as the dominant race of the Western Hemisphere. This was brought about by one man: Ramsus Zephyr. I'll let you read the "Squirrels and Puppies" to find out the rest.
