My Blog

I thank God for my wife!

December 18th thru the 22nd  Squirrels & Puppies Dark Morality Tales will befree for the Amazon Kindle.

In the meantime, I'm still working on "Ruins of the Fall".  I have about 14 chapters written so far, making it already longer than my last book.  My lovely wife has been supportive of my endeavors.  I recently have found out that my wife has actually been paying attention to my work.  Before I thought she was simply telling me that my work is good because I'm her husband, but I let her read my latest chapter entitled "The Colored Girl" and she told me, flat-out, it needed work.

The Black Experience of GTA Five

Well, I'm still working on my next book and promoting my new one "Squirrels & Puppies: Dark Morality Tales", but I've been taking a little breather for my favorite past time: video games.  Recently, I've been playing a new video game called Grand Theft Auto Five.  Now I've played GTA games in the past and enjoyed them thoroughly.  Why?  Why else:  fun, gratuitous violence!  Also GTA is what we gamers refer to as a sandbox game.  That means the game allows you free reign as to what activity you can engage in within the confines of the game world.

"Young Justice" Cancelled? Ethnic Issues?

I know this post is late.  The TV show "Young Justice" was cancelled back in March.  I bought the last DVD for the 2nd season about a month ago, and I've been feeling like this ever since I finished watching the season finale.  Now for those of you who don't know what "Young Justice" is about, it's a show about a team of superheroes formed from the sidekicks or younger versions of the heroes from the "Justice League".  Now for those of you who don't know about the "Justice League", they're a team of adult superheroes, which include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and a host of other famous superheroes.

Here's another short story from me

Okay, it's been a while since I've blogged.  I've been working hard on "Ruins of the Fall: Rise of Ramsus" and promoting my current book "Squirrels & Puppies: Dark Morality Tales".  Still, I should put something out for people to see.  I wrote this story to put on another site, but I haven't heard anything from them, you go!  Enjoy!

Christian Mercy & Forgiveness: An Education

Hello again!  I know it's been a little while since I've blogged, but after getting in a few online scrapes, I felt I just had to clear things up for future reference.  I've found that most people, Christian or otherwise, really do have this candy-coated picture of what Christian mercy and forgiveness is supposed to be.  They're under the peculiar impression that the Biblical definition of mercy and forgiveness is "anything goes".  I will agree that Jesus Christ does want all Christians to be forgiving and He desires us to be merciful.

Microsoft's insult to me...

I don't normally rant about consumer electronics.  I don't like cell phones.  Computers are slow, and there's nothing genuinely new under the sun.  However, I'm a gamer, and I've just been insulted.  About a week ago, Microsoft told the world about its upcoming game console, the XBox ONE.  They spoke extensively about all the new features, which were cool, but weren't enough to allay disdain at the "not-so-cool" features, features like it won't play used games.

Working on a New Story

Hello again!

Sorry I don't have anything too political to talk about today.  I have a mental backlog of stories.  I've been working on the gold part of "The Bride" chapter for Ruins of the Fall.  You can find that still on a couple blog sitesblacksciencefictionsociety.comandblackbloggers.comas well as my own.  I'll be submitting a short story toBlackLiteraryMagazine.comfor the BLM shorts feature.  I think it will be political and strange enough for them to publish.

Sanford, South Carolina, and stupidity

Well, Readers, I'm from South Carolina.  What is South Carolina, you ask?  It's a state in the U.S.A. in the region commonly known as "The South".  It was the state that sparked our nation's civil war.  It's a state that clings to this rebellious heritage.  One of its senators, Strom Thurmond, was the guy who spoke loudest against civil rights for Black Americans.  With all this being said, South Carolina is well-known for racism.  Everyone can agree on this.

New Chapter from "Ruins of the Fall"

Okay!  It's time to show-and-tell.  Here's another chapter from my upcoming book "Ruins of the Fall: Rise of Ramsus"!!!  This is only the wax of the story.  I'm still working on the gold of this chapter.  Feel free to critique, comment, and point out errors.  It's still a little rough.

New Story!!! ...with lesbians

Sorry about my lackadaisical blogging.  I've been busy promoting my current book and writing my next book, "Ruins of the Fall".  I just finished another story for it.  It's called "The Bride".  It's about a buxom White woman who is being hunted and harassed by Convention soldiers (precursors to the Kemu).  Of course, there are some themes about racial equality, a lot of death, OH! and I threw in some lesbian sex to make things interesting.
